On January 26, President Michael Rao, Ph.D., talked about the VCU mission of discovery, scholarship, and innovation. These are three topics that we’re well familiar with. Our university encourages research, and our startup mentality fosters that innovation that brings solutions to real-world problems. While his State of the University Address stressed the impact we make on our immediate community, there can be no doubt that our reach extends well beyond Richmond.
