We’ve long maintained that there is no single characteristic that makes an entrepreneur. Male or female. Long-tenured professor or first-year student. And our entrepreneurs don’t come exclusively from the School of Business or Engineering. They’re from across the campus.

A great example of this comes in the field of biomedical research. Recently, four of our fellow Rams were honored for their work in this field. They were juniors and sophomores, men and women, and black and white. While this award recognized the work of minority researchers, the breadth of diversity among our innovators should surprise no one.
